Modern Day Machine Rooms

As the summer approaches, and we’re stuck at home, my son’s room is going to start getting hot: gets the least AC, small, and he has a big-ass gaming PC. So, I drilled a hole in his floor and dropped two DisplayPort and two USB3 cable through, and moved the PC and UPS to the basement. Also ran a power cord back from the UPS (so his monitors and Nanoleaf are protected).

He doesn't appreciate the nostalgic looks of the old timers, esp my wife and friends who worked at PARC and heard tales of Altos needing their own rooms.
